Future Farmers is the name of my collection I made as part of the Gesture Statement assignment. The assignment consisted of first analyzing a stuffed animal extensively, taking it apart and remaking it in three different fabrics.

Taking this garnered information as a starting point we continued by analyzing six archetypal pieces of clothing: trousers, a blazer, a button-up shirt, a skirt, a coat and a t-shirt. We were then tasked to meticulously design a collection using only accurate technical drawings.

We had to convert some designs into tech-sheets which could be sent to a production facility and one garment had to be made. My collection was a highly practical, workwear collection, utilizing modern darts and seams to give the garments a contemporary feel.
